The methods of technical analysis are – a) Graphic Method, b) Analytical Method c) Wave Method. Graphic Method – In order to determine the possibility of a trend's continuation or change, the graphic technical analysis examines several graphical models developed through particular patterns of price movement on the charts. Analytical Method – Analytical methods are the main technical indicator. A technical indicator is any pattern developed from historical data that is used by a technical analyst to forecast the future trend of a price. There are mainly four types of indicators. They are (i) trend indicators; (ii) momentum indicators; and (iii) volatility indicators. iv) volume indicators. Wave Analysis – Wave analysis is a type of technical analysis in which the market follows a certain wave-like pattern because of the natural rhythm of mass psychology that exists across the market.
