6. If Fails to Maintain the Minimum Investment Amount in SIF

a) If the valuation of your SIF investment falls below Rs.10 lakh due to MARKET VOLATILITY ( AS PASSIVE BREACH), SEBI regulations dictate that IT IS NOT CONSIDERED A VIOLATION, BUT YOUR REDEMPTION OPTIONS BECOME LIMITED. Under those situations, the following will happen : 1. NO FORCED TOP UP : Not required to add more money to bring the valuation back above Rs.10 lakh 2. PARTIAL REDEMPTION RESTRICTED : You cannot make partial redemptions once the value drops below the Rs.10 lakh threshold. 3. FULL EXIT OPTION: You are permitted to redeem the entire remaining amount, effectively closing the investment 4. CONTINUED HOLDING: You can choose to remain invested, waiting for the market to recover to bring your valuation back over Rs.10 lakh potentially. b) If the valuation of your SIF investment falls below Rs.10 lakh because you initiated a withdrawal ( ACTIVE BREACH) The AMC will FREEZE your units and you will have 30 days to rebalance your portfolio, failing which your investment will be automatically redeemed.
