The labs will focus on developing applications for use in areas such as smart classrooms, precision farming, intelligent transport systems, and healthcare. 5G is a new global wireless standard after 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. 5G enables a new kind of network designed to connect virtually everyone, including machines, objects, and devices.
